The teachers and children explored this theme in a number of different ways to create many beautiful works of art. The St Patrick's Day sponsored walk on the 15th of March was a big success. A huge thank you to all the children for getting dressed up and to the parents, family and friends who joined the parade or cheered the children as they marched around the estate. Thank you too for your generosity in sponsoring the children.

Dublinia

Yesterday, many of our second class children took a step back in time when they visited Dublinia. Here they had the opportunity to experience the life and smells of Medieval Ireland, followed by dressing up as Vikings and taking a voyage on a longship. After a quick lunch and spotting of some deer in Pheonix Park, their next destination was Collins Barracks. Soldiers were stationed here years ago. Here, they saw everything from military canons and planes to fashion through the ages. A fun packed day was had by all!!
